A global financial institution was running a critical document management solution on end-of-life IBM Power infrastructure. Millions of sensitive documents needed to migrate to the cloud with extreme availability requirements — 99.9% in phase 1, 99.99% in phase 2 — with zero service interruption.
02 — What SIA delivered
SIA took ownership of the entire project: architecture, implementation, migration, security, operations and training. Phase 1: full migration to IBM Cloud IaaS with high availability, dual network redundancy and next-generation firewalls. Phase 2: modernization to a containerized Kubernetes architecture with SSO, object storage and modern application integrations. SIA has been operating the solution continuously for over 4 years.
